Bohemian Styled Shoot

Yesterday my sister and her husband got to get married again. Ha JK! But they did get a whole new set of wedding photos.

A couple months ago I learned about the benefits of styling wedding shoots on a Jasmine Star CreativeLive course. Naturally I came out all inspired and knew I had the perfect models.

Laura and Nate got married 4 years ago so she already had her beautiful dress. I knew I wanted to style it bohemian, so I built a teepee. My older sister, Lisa, has a house decorated like it's straight out of a magazine, so one trip to her place took care of the rest of the decorations. Ally Prize did Laura's hair and makeup and her bouquet and crown is from Charlotte's flowers in Troy.
The day unfolded better than I ever could've dreamed. We started by the teepee, popped a glass of champagne, cozied up, and then headed over to the bridge and the creek. The forecast guarenteed rain, but God so graciously held it off for us, which creates my FAVORITE type of light. (I live for that "about to rain" glow)
Today I am sitting here, so thankful for how everything turned out. Thank you to Laura and Nate for modeling, Lisa for styling, the awesome vendor team, and all my friends that encouraged me! Y'all are the best!

If you are a married couple and would like to be a model for an upcoming shoot, send me an email! I would love to get you in front of my camera!
