Timothy + Caroline Sirmon
Caroline and Tim first met in Birmingham, AL during Caroline's final clinical for PT school. She and Tim started talking towards the end of clinicals, just before Caroline had to head back home to St. Louis. After she went home, Tim and Caroline stayed in touch even though they were miles apart. For their official first date they met half way in Kutawa, KY and needless to say, it went well. ;) Over the following year and half they met in various places between St. Louis and Birmingham, until Tim moved to St. Louis in 2014.
Throughout the past 5 years together, they've had adventures that took them all over the country. Aside from clinicals in AL, and dates everywhere in between, Caroline and Tim visited Boulder, CO where Tim competed in the half IronMan with his whole family there to support him. And if a half IronMan wasn't athletic enough, they also visited Navarre Beach, FL together for their first real vacation and decided to bike along the National Seashore to Pensacola and back.
Last April, Tim took Caroline to Klondike Park at sunset and convinced her that he just wanted to "try out" his friend's GoPro by videoing the sunset. They sat on the bluffs overlooking the river and talked for over an hour. As soon as the sun dropped behind them, Tim got down on one knee and asked Caroline to marry him. They then proceeded to celebrate with the champagne + plastic flutes Tim had brought along.
Throughout the past year they had been busy planning their beautiful wedding day that finally happened this past Saturday. At Assumption Catholic Church, in front of their closest family and friends, Caroline and Tim committed to each other for forever. After the vows were said and the rings exchanged, everyone headed over to the Foundry Art Center for the reception! (but not before we took some portraits, of course) Their reception was a total party, full of New Orlean's traditions + they had a live band-- my personal favorite!
Caroline + Tim, thank you so much for allowing me to play a small role in your big day! I had the best time hanging out with you + your bridal party on Saturday. I hope sunny California is treating you well this week! :) xoxo.
